Lesson 11

Hello and welcome back to Darkcaster Dreams's  Magic lecture! Today we will
  1. Explain how magic is amplified
  2. Explain why magic is amplified
First off, what does it mean for magic to be amplified? Well lets look at amplification in 3 ways. The first way is making it stronger. The second is making it bigger or larger. The third form of amplification is making it travel longer distances. No they are not the same. Magic, depending on the amplifier, can be any of the three. For example; ice magic is stronger when it is snowing, but has a larger radius when in a naturally snowy area, such as a glacier or an iceberg. So magic, then is amplified in two ways; when its primary element is around, or when its in the natural climate for the magic's element. Magic can, however be redirected away from amplification or just not be amplified at all. If a life student was practicing in a forest, but wanted to only affect one tree they would concentrate on that one tree not just on trees. Similar with other elements. In the next lecture, we will discuss magic dampers.
